Tours and Picnics

Here at the farm we offer educational and just plain fun times with our group tours, picnics, and hayrides. Tours are geared toward teaching about the production of Christmas trees in Texas, with emphasis on the stewardship of the land and the wild creatures living upon it. We enjoy, however, occasionally deviating from our basic treatise, and will entertain the idea of changing the curriculum for specific needs such as scouts, FFA, 4H, might require.

Fun outings are just that, FUN! You pick the theme, if any, and we'll provide the wagon rides, picnic tables, camp/cook fires, and plenty of acreage for games. Hayrides can take place anytime of day or night, Just get a group together, make reservations, kick back on a big pile of sweet hay and take a power nap. Afterwards gather around the campfire for stories and roasted marshmallows. Call the farm about two weeks in advance for reservations:

  • Mon – Fri from 9 am to noon

• For any group less than 50:

  • Cost per person $7.00

• For any group between 50 to 100:

  • cost per person $6.00

• For any group over 100:

  • cost per person $5.00

• All bookings require a $100 deposit to reserve

 Fun Night time hayrides for big or small groups

• Starting Oct. 1 , 2008 - Jan. 1, 2009

  • Any evening from 5:30 pm—10 pm

• For any group less than 100:

  • Cost per person $7.00

• For any group more than 100:

  • Cost per person $6.00

• All bookings require a $100 deposit to reserve
